Raymond Erb

ERB, Raymond-Passed away on Friday, April 20, 2018 at Caressant Care Senior Home in Listowel in his 86th year. Born on March 21, 1933 in Millbank, he was the beloved husband of the late Eleanor Brown (2006). Loving father of Garry Erb and his wife Doris, and Debbie Erb. Dear grandfather of Trent and Andrea Erb (Benjamin and Nicholas), Tisha and Tim Strickert (Jaret, Clarissa and Jansen), Charity Schedler and Tim Machan (Brayden, Kodi and Bella), Rachel and Justin Labranche (Zoey and Logan), Ryan Erb, and Marcus son Logan. He will be missed by his sisters, brothers, sisters and brothers-in law; Verna Leis, Earl and Clara Meyers, Willie and Grace Buelher, Floyd and Wilma Good, Ross and Erma Shantz, Freeman and Eleanor Mast, John and Doris VanTright, Lloyd and Rita Erb, Jim Ewing, John and Shelia Brown, Harlen and Jean Anders as well as many nieces and nephews. Sadly missed by his friend Alice Weber. Predeceased by his parents Chris Erb and Mattie (nee Gerber), his grandson Marcus Erb (2017). Sisters and brothers; Betty Erb, Earle Erb, Helen Ewing, brothers and sisters-in law; Lorne Leis, Edith Erb, Dave and Vi Schmucker, Barb Anders and Mildred Goss. Raymond lived his life serving God and his calling to the Ministry. Serving at Ellesmere (Toronto), Bethel, Listowel, North Leo (Indiana), Crosshill, and Maple View Mennonite Churches. He was a builder of people as well as homes and enjoyed working with his hands. He loved creating Intarsia pictures and enjoyed his weekly curling. Friends may visit with the family at Maple View Mennonite Church, 5074 Deborah Glaister Line on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 10 a.m. till 1:45 p.m. Funeral Service to begin in the church at 2 p.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
